People love freeroll poker tournaments since they allow players to win money without having to pay a cash buy-in fee.  However, there is almost always a catch for entering the freeroll poker tourneys since they usually require something in place of a buy-in fee.  Whether it is a bunch of bonus points or something similar, it’s still costing people to play.
